Chris Storey
Chris has been employed in structural engineering for over 20 years, initially working in the design office of a large structural steelwork fabricator before entering private consultancy 13 years ago.
He joined Walker Associates in 2000 as an engineer and became an Associate in 2002.
Chris has gained experience on a wide variety of projects, both new build and refurbishment. These include large R.C. framed residential structures, refurbishment of historic military buildings and their conversion into residential accommodation, steel framed industrial, educational and medical buildings and numerous projects of varying size in all forms of construction.
In his role as an associate Chris is involved in projects from concept stage through to completion, managing the in-house design and draughting team and liasing with the client and project design teams.
Chris has a HNC in civil engineering and is currently working towards becoming an incorporated engineer.
