Chris Pound
Chris has been employed in the profession for over 20 years, initially working for local authority and later in private sector consultancy.
Joining Walker Associates in 2002 as a senior engineer, Chris subsequently became an Associate in the practice.
During his career Chris has gained experience on a wide variety of projects including, commercial, residential, educational, medical and retail buildings, as well as highway structures. He has worked on both new build and refurbishment projects for a wide variety of Clients.
In his role as an associate Chris is involved in projects from concept stage through to completion, managing the in-house design and draughting team and liasing with the client and project design teams.
Chris is a Chartered Structural Engineer having membership of the Institution of Structural Engineers and holds an Honours Degree in Civil Engineering.
